Canoe & Kayak Names Trip Jennings “Best Explorer Now”
Canoe & Kayak Magazine has named EP’s own Trip Jennings “Best Explorer Now” in its annual Best in Paddling issue. Fellow exploratory kayak Ben Stookesberry had this to say about Trip: “When Trip started his Rivers in Demand project, the whole industry shifted towards information-based expeditions…When you look at his expeditions in the context of history, those trips [Papua New Guinea, Congo] will stand out because of the difficulty of the logistics, the freshness of the vision, and the response of the national media.”
